What are cables?
They are cables used in distributing electrical energy, and they consist of three main parts: the conductor, the insulation layer, and the outer coil. An essential element works to secure the electrical current transmission path while resisting the different layers of alternating current and insulating it from its surroundings, in the vicinity of the previous two sections to isolate any moisture and protect the cable from all external factors or mechanical harm.
The difference between cable and wire?
A wire consists of a single electrical conductor while a cable consists of a group of wires gathered together in a single sheath.
Electrical wires are usually made of aluminum or copper and are either bare or insulated.
